Our Story: Honoring the Legacy of Delfy Roach
“A tribute to the roots that started it all, and the shared vision that keeps families at the heart of
everything we do.”
Family ASAP was founded by Delfy Roach, a passionate advocate who dedicated herself to
standing up for New Mexico families when their voices weren’t being heard. Delfy poured her
heart into the work, making sure families were treated with respect and dignity.
In 2025, Delfy decided it was time to step back, and she entrusted the future of the organization
to Chasity LeBlanc, Executive Director, and Carol Felley, Clinical Director. With Delfy’s full
support, Chasity and Carol stepped into leadership together—Chasity bringing years of
experience walking alongside families as an advocate, and Carol bringing her clinical expertise
in supporting families through healing.
With both of their strengths combined, and Delfy’s blessing to make the work their own, the
organization was renamed Better Together Family Services. The new name reflects what they
believe at their core: families are stronger when advocacy, healing, and connection come
together.
Today, Chasity and Carol co-lead the organization, carrying forward Delfy’s legacy while
expanding services to meet the growing needs of families across New Mexico. They remain
deeply grateful to Delfy, whose courage, vision, and unwavering dedication created a
movement that changed the way families are seen and supported in New Mexico. Her
work continues to inspire everything Better Together Family Services does, reminding us
that one person’s passion can spark lasting change for generations of families.
